FROM LONDON TO BAGHDAD:
WHY WE NEED TO STOP THE "WAR ON TERROR", Wed. 7/27
Bush and Blair would like us to believe
that these attacks came from people who simply "hate freedom," and "don't value life." But the reality is that these kinds of attacks happen on a daily basis in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine. In Baghdad and London, these attacks are the result of a long and brutal history of US and UK intervention in the Middle East. Now the war and occupation of Iraq has only escalated the violence and brought the war home to the UK. Come to a public meeting to discuss what's happening and how the anti-war movement can respond effectively.
