At the June 28 DAWN meeting a new Point of Unity was passed unanimously. The DC Anti-War Network will now officially stand and work against torture. We will align ourselves with other groups that work to stop torture around the globe. Per the note-taker at the meeting: "Item 4. Level I: Addition to DAWN Points of Unity, including on the web page:
"DAWN stands opposed to torture and aligns with other groups to work
against torture in the United States and worldwide."
Passed unanimously."
