The US Campaign to end the Occupation is taking a lead role connecting local groups and trying to get folks to communicate with their representatives. 6/4 TEACH IN: Plymouth Congregational Church. June 4th 7 pm. Great panel of speakers incl. Rev. Haggler and Military Families Speak Out. We will have a five minute opportunity to pitch DAWN and the conventions Busses. They are really focusing on the links between the war and the Prison Industrial Complex. FALL ACTION: Saturday October 23rd. We have a permit for a march around the White House we will get the word out and get a crowd into DC. Jose is point person. I am hoping to get on DAWN DC.net. Artwork to print this event date. The longshoreman are planning to do an event "Million Worker March" on the 16th, but that is theng of the Native American Museum. They are predicting a crowd of 60-70,000 people for the Longshoreman event, and perhaps we can merge the two.

RUMSFELD GROUP. would like to continue going to Rumsfeld's House. They started blocking off the side streets when we turned the corner onto Kalorama. We got to Rumsfeld's House. The Secret Service guys threatened use with arrest. Opinion: If we continued to do this we need to do a different kind of civil disobediance and we need to do some training.
Opinion: We need a middle of the night unpublicized action at Rumsfeld's house. 15 freepers / 40-45 DAWN.

RICHMOND ACTION: July 3rd action in Richmond to to alternative patriotic holiday. They also want to raise money for conventions transportation. They are going to be coming up to scout out DC actions before their big actions next month.

ANSWER: is marching to Rumsfeld's house instead of the Pentagon. This is a change probably because ofthe amount of people that they thought they mobilize. This is still a huge outreach opportunity. Targeting the civilian leadership keeping the pressure on for Rumsfeld's removal and the discrediting of the entire neoconservative foreign policy strategy.
